Lonza Inc. announces it is increasing the list and off-list price up to 20% for the following products: bisamides, food and technical esters, quaternary ammonium compounds, alkyl chlorides, amines, amine oxides, amphoteric surfactants, and hydantoins. Select products may incur higher increases in price. This increase is necessary due to the significant and sustained escalation in costs for natural and synthetic raw materials, fuel and freight, as well as increasing regulatory costs. Price increases will impact non-contract customers and other customers as their contracts permit. These new prices will come into effect on January 15, 2011.
